While almost finished with one read, I was thrilled to get back into it when... I opened the app and it told me I could "add your first serial." WHAT?!?!? I have a couple Im reading, so how did it lose those and my progress? Frustrating. Pretty sure Ill be deleting see this!

Ive read several books now on this app Usually have three going at the same time No problems Yes it is a simple app but it does what it proclaims to do i.e. Giving you daily chunks of a book to read Period If you want more complicated get them from kindle or Kobo or nook or Gutenberg and stop complaining

Love this app! It gives perfectly sectioned bits to read of classics I never have the time to get to.

Instead of my nose in Facebook for hours, I make time to read...a book! And Im not looking at how many pages I are left to read in a book as I would in the past. I enjoy the segments like a daily TV program one looks forward to. Love it so far!

This is such a great way to make time for reading daily. A very nice selection of books is available.

Please dont listen to naysayers. This app is brilliant. I am reading books I would never have read without it. I look forward to each days issue and am now starting on my fifth book from the just added category. Get this app if you want to read the classics and only have a few minutes a day to devote to them. Five Stars!

This is a great idea with a very nice execution. I agree with other reviewers that it is not perfect (for example Id like to be able to hide competed books) but for me it works as a charm.

Have been using this app for a few months with no problems until yesterday. I finished My Ántonia and then everything disappeared. All four of my completed books were no longer there. I had planned to reread a portion of My Ántonia, but that obviously became impossible. My best friend said the same thing happened to him. Luckily, I had just completed a book; had this happened mid-way through it would have been much more frustrating (not like getting and illness or losing your religion frustrating, but certainly maddening within the context of the app experience). Until this happened I loved the app. I still do, but I guess I am cautious. Now I am hesitant to start a new book. Because of my enthusiasm, at least ten others are using the app! I hope you guys can fix this. Perhaps saving progress in the cloud?

I have no complaints about the app. It delivers small reading portions each day as promised. I was able to read classics without getting distracted by my books in other forms. This was what I was looking for and I am pleased! For us reading addicts, it is difficult to stop after a short period of time but we have other mediums that satisfy that dont we? The app delivers as it states it will and I am very pleased with it!

Serial reader is now making it possible for me to read the great American novel. Thank you, its a great app!

I really liked this app until I got the the last section and a half, and my book is gone. Not happy!

I love the app but they should make your books available on all your devices.

A slick well designed app for those with not enough time to read a book in a single sitting

I already loved this app but its only getting better. The developer really listened to the reviews and added most of the suggestions like the ability to look up words, highlight, and take notes. Better yet even though a premium level was added many of these new features are free, which is amazing on an app with no ads. I was happy to upgrade to the premium level just to support this project but I think Ill also like the ability to pause when Im really busy.

A great reading app that helps you read more classics and it keeps adding features that make it better and better each time.

Its rare in my experience to see a person really enjoy what they do. This App is one of those occasions. Its clear to me that Michael is enjoying himself. His product speaks volumes about his enthusiasm. Yes I support his project. I now have the habit of starting my day with a quick read. Thanks to Michael.

This is a great way to dig into that reading list of classics! The interface is simple, works fantastically, looks beautiful. The books are perfectly formatted and a pleasure to read. The selection is already huge and diverse, and I cant wait to see whats added in the future (theres an option to request books to be added, too). The newest improvements make this an even better reading experience.
