This app is perfect for book geeks who want to brush up on the literary classics. I just started using it and completed my first issue of Pride and Prejudice and am waiting for the next issue to "arrive". The badges are a great way to stay motivated to finish a book. I like this app so much, I am considering purchasing it to support the developer and get more features. Impressive. Keep up the nice work!

This is such a clever, beautifully designed app. So many amazing titles to choose from. I read Pride and Prejudice in 10-min installments, and I probably never would have gotten around to reading it otherwise. Now Im on to Moby Dick!

By reading just a little bit each its easy to get into these classic books and understand what made them classics. The app is well designed, typography perfect with lots of options. Reading is a joy. I upgraded to paid just to say thank you for great app and joy Ive gotten from it

I used to read all the time but recently have thought that I was too busy..this app breaks up your reading into manageable parts and has really rekindled my love of reading!

A great way to read the classics

Although I spend most of my waking hours with my iPhone in my hand, I found that reading books was taking away from that. It felt weird to not have a screen in front of my face. I also dont really have the attention span to sit for more than a few minutes looking at something that isnt my phone. With this app, now I can "read" literature in small enough chunks to suit what has become of my mind. If I had a complaint, it would be that the trunks are a little bit too big. Maybe they could just come as texts or emoji!

This is a great what to read. It would be great if the reader could upload his/her own library selections as well.

If youve ever wanted to read more classics but have been afraid that you might throw your back out carrying Anna Karenina around...this is the app for you! I was the kid that always chose Steinbeck novels because they were skinny and therefore less intimidating to read. This app gives you classic novels to read in small pieces at a time. You could even pick the same novel as someone else and have a mini discussion each day to discuss what was read. Ive considered having my honors students download and read the same book together. As a reader, I would strongly recommend this app.

Okay so classic lit is my favorite genre, but sometimes leisure reading can feel more like a chore. The way this app breaks up a book into sections, or "issues", is such a great way to make reading this kind of literature fun and enlightening again! I started off with some of the "Quick Reads", and have read two books so far this week. In my opinion, it is worth paying for the full version of the app (I think its just $.99), so you can read ahead if you want, highlight passages, and make notes. Also, I really recommend reading The Yellow Wallpaper! Its just two issues, making it the shortest story I believe, and its very interesting, and really well-written without at all being hard to understand. It has a nice, but subtle, creep-factor.

I have always struggled with reading classics because I have often felt overwhelmed by either their length or language. However , this app breaks down each book into about 10-15 minute reading increments. This makes it much more manageable. Any time that I do not know a phrase or word the app allows you to highlight and look up the word using either Wikipedia or dictionary! Thank you so much for providing this app!

I absolutely love this app! It keeps me motivated while reading some of the most amazing books.

I went ahead and paid for the upgrade since I knew Ill get a lot of use out of this app. Currently reading two books that have been sitting in my TBR pile for years, and I have a wait list for plenty of other books Ive been meaning to get to. Love this app, it was definitely worth the upgrade!

Absolutely great.

I consider myself an avid reader, but there are a lot of classics that I have never read simply because I didnt feel like I had the time or endurance. I hate to start reading something that I wont have time to finish. This app is great because it makes any book seem possible to read. I also really like how traditional the idea of reading a novel in serials. Many of these classics were originally released in serial form in the first place! I have enjoyed using the app so far and look forward to reading many more books!

Cant believe I didnt have this in my life before. Some books are just too daunting to open when theyre 500 pages and written 300 years ago. But 10 minute bites are so easy to get through, and I feel excited about books in a way I thought I had lost. Like a fan of Dickens waiting at the docks for the next serial issue, just like they used to.

Ive finished 7 serials now and Im currently reading 3 simultaneously. This app has gotten me to read every day, and the updates and newly added serials occur enough that Im always engaged. Currently trodding through War and Peace, Operation Interstellar, and The Quran. Always learning.

I love that this app exists. It has become part of my morning routine. With so many books in the world, I tend to neglect the classics for the must read books of the month. This app is a fun way to incorporate older books into my everyday life, and keep me from wasting my time on garbage apps that are rotting my brain. I look forward to the notification each morning.

Simple and easy. Gives me just enough to read everyday for myself and a great way to introduce my little one to the classics.
