Pros and cons of Serial Reader app for iPhone and iPad

Serial Reader app good for

If only there were books in Portuguese and Spanish too... That would be Heaven ❤️ Great incouraging app!
Loving the app, it reminds me to read at my chosen time, and I can always fit 10 minutes of reading even on busy days. It has a good selection of classics too.
Gave me the opportunity to check out some classics I would have otherwise skipped. Great idea!
Im often too busy to sit down with a good book. This app lets me take good books with me anywhere, providing short snippets each day for enjoyment. So good.
Love the app so far, I have always found it difficult to complete one of these classics in one go, with this app I get chunks everyday. I also love that (if read everyday) the sections serve as number of days it will take to finish.
I have been reading for almost a month. I never miss a day of reading. Have already finished one story and the better part of another.

Some bad moments

I just started with this app and was well into a Philip K. Dick story, when it reset. It wants me to pick my first novel. Ahem... I already had. Well, Im not starting all over again, nor am I going to bother with another one that will probably do the same thing. It doesnt sync to other devices either, so that certainly doesnt help any.
I should have known it was too good to be true. The books do not contain all the chapters. You can compare Les Fleurs du Mal, King James Bible, and maybe another of your choosing, but they do not contain the whole story. Just a warning. You will probably get most of the story, but not the full story.
I think the app is great and have enjoyed many of its features. I would ask that you add an ability to mark books you have already read before using the app as finished. Would be a great way to track them all. Thanks!
I was loving this app, but have not been able to access it for over a week. Immediately shuts down when I try to open it. I had hoped update would solve my problem, but sadly didnt.
Its great for those of us who spend so much time reading that we never have managed to fit in those classics we keep promising ourselves. I just wonder if it will ever take off with those who could really use it, those who see reading as a challenge instead of a pleasure. I hope you can find a marketing strategy that will bring these books to those who would never read them otherwise. Thanks for your time and effort
What a wonderful little surprise, and such an encouragement to encounter or reacquaint oneself with such good stuff - and serialization was a common way to consume many of the originals. While I look forward to UI improvements and refinement, I decided to not allow that to influence the rating - being vastly more interests in the titles which will be added. Bravo! (and thank you)
