Great way to gameify reading of classic out of copyright novels. Really enjoying the scifi selection currently. Missing some options, and polish,but all in all great app idea and execution.

Ive been using for a few days now with no problems. Ill update my rating if it starts crashing or other problems. So far though Im pretty excited about it.

I have never had any technical issues with this app. It gives me a manageable tidbit of reading to look forward to everyday. I am so busy, I find it hard to fit in leisure activities, but this gives me just enough so that I always take the time. A great selection of titles. I look forward to more. My thanks to the developer for creating this.

What a great idea with an excellent implementation. If possible, please allow the option to dim the navigation dots while reading. They overpower the text and draw focus.

Getting that little reminder every night to pick up where I left off is a little time for me every night.

This is a fun app to help conquer the classics. It helps me read through the tough ones and makes me excited to get the next installment for my favorites! I recommend this app for all types of readers!

There are a few apps that I use daily and this one has joined their ranks. Im really enjoying this way of reading and finding that I can keep track of several stories at once. It reminds me of my Bible devotion time and fits well into my schedule. I find that with only a short portion available, I slow down and pay closer attention to what Im reading. The gauges give me something to aim for, so I dont neglect my reading, but build a good habit. Im excited to see what books get added next. I expect that I will avail of all of the book currently offered as Im enjoying not only the material, but the process as well. A built in dictionary would be great.

I love this very simple concept. Please dont pay any attention to people who express negative opinions without there being any ground for them. For instance criticism about the font. The front can be changed. And criticism about not being able to go back to older issues: this reviewer must have hit the wrong button. Personally I think thats precisely because this app is so simple it is brilliant. Its got me to read again and not just that, to read the classics. Another criticism that I have seen is that you can download the classics for free on your iPad or other device. That maybe so but it is precisely the "spoon feeding" that Serial Reader does, combined with the notifications, that makes that I will actually read.

I really love this ap! I have long been saying I will go back and read some of the literary classics but hadnt done it until this ap broke them into digestible bites for me! I am now able to set aside a short period of time each day to spend with truly great literature. Amazing!

I rarely write reviews for apps. But I had to write a review for this one. I absolutely love its such a great and simple idea. Ive been wanting to read the classics again, but was too busy or reading something else. This reminds me to read small sections at a time. Love it.

Overall I am very pleased with this app. Im a frequent reader of hefty tomes, but I have a bad habit of getting distracted in the middle of them by some other book. I thought this apps approach might work well for me -- and it does! My main complaint is that there is no way to adjust the length of each "issue." Im a pretty fast reader and each little bit only takes me 10 minutes or so. Thats not long enough for me to really settle into the story. Id love to have a longer option. If I abandon the app it will be for that reason. I picked "The Brothers Karamazov" and am enjoying it very much -- I am not sure I can stand reading it quite this slowly! I am close to abandoning the app and just grabbing a paper copy so I can actually just READ and lose myself in the book. Thats more my issue than the apps though!

These days Millennials have such short attention span. It can be frustrating when you want to read but bite sized entertainment makes it difficult to concentrate. This app is so cool and fresh. It would be even cooler if you could add friends to see what theyre reading and if newer literature were available as well. For its selection and functionality, this app is amazing!

A very innovative and well thought out app. Only thing it could use is a dictionary on long press of a word, which the dev has told me will be in the next release.

I love to read the classics, but Im not very disciplined in my reading with everything else I enjoy doing. Serial Reader allows me to parcel out my reading so I carve out the time for it before I move on to my next activity. Ive not run into any of the issues other reviewers mentioned, either.

Great app but as soon as it made the last of 37 deliveries I couldnt read any more of the book. I was a couple days behind in my reading. I didnt get to read the last few updates.

Im not a reader, but I am now - breaking up the task into 20min chunks is genius. I cant believe I look forward to it.
